There are two types of results:

Paid results

They are the first to be seen on the results page and appear with the word “Ad” on the left side.

Organic results

To reach that desired place, there are SEO techniques, whose purpose is to optimize your pages so that, little by little, they appear in those first locations.

So recognizing your web positioning is very important when evaluating your SEO strategies and analyzing their effectiveness, in order to make the necessary adjustments and reach the coveted top.

Why? Because Google adapts the results it shows you depending on your geographic location, search history, the sites you visit, and even your Google Account.

Private or incognito browsing prevents Google from remembering your history, cookies, browsing data, etc.

So when you enter the search engine in incognito mode and type in your keywords, you have a greater chance of receiving an objective results page.

The advantage of this method is that it is very easy to implement, plus it does not involve registering, paying or downloading anything.

The disadvantage is that it does not provide you with other information that you can find in some SEO tools that I will show you later.
